From old equipment to new value.
We bring structure, certainty and avoided CO₂ emissions to the reuse of industrial assets — before storage, value loss and unnecessary dismantling.
Five questions per asset. One well-founded decision.
-
01
Value?
Market value follows from function, condition and the evidence on the table. The current scrap value is always the floor; everything above it, we substantiate.
-
02
Safe?
Technical integrity, the last medium carried, and HSE clearance all come before any value judgement. Without demonstrable safety, an asset does not proceed.
-
03
Tradeable?
Ownership, product status and boundary requirements are settled before sale. The operator isn't automatically the owner; we verify that explicitly.
-
04
Which buyer?
Targeted search on application, specification, quantity, location and timeframe. An asset only reaches the market once a concrete buyer fits it.
-
05
CO₂ gain?
Avoided emissions as a verifiable range, calculated using the ISO 14067 methodology and corrected for transport and reconditioning. A substantiated indication, not a verified figure.
Why start early?
Most value is lost before the sale.
Without classification and evidence, a usable asset ends up in bulk sale or scrap too quickly.
-
Proceeds
The market value of function and condition stays invisible.
-
Evidence
Technical, legal and CO₂ substantiation is missing.
-
Control
The buyer decides the destination, not you.
Our approach
From asset list to a well-founded destination.
One director, three clear phases, and a verifiable decision per asset.
-
Inventory
We gather photos, asset data and documents, matched to your schedule and site.
-
Assess and substantiate
We check engineering, safety, product status, value and CO₂. Uncertainties stay visible.
-
Match and transfer
We determine the best route, find a fitting buyer and organise the file and handover.
You keep the decision. We provide the substantiation and organise the chain, with no storage model and publication only after your approval.
The tangible result
Every asset gets a passport.
One file brings together identity, condition, compliance, value and CO₂. You see what is confirmed, what is derived, and what still needs verification.
-
Identity and engineering
From nameplate and specifications to provenance and service history.
-
Safety and compliance
HSE clearance, inspections, product status and relevant standards.
-
Value and impact
Value ladder, reuse route and substantiated avoided emissions.
From evidence to value
From scrap to maximum value.
Every asset gets a Value Ladder class (A–D): the quality and value position that drives proceeds, CO₂ retention and our fee. The higher the class, the higher all three.
Top quality
Ready for immediate reuse, documentation in order
Used / coated
Reusable after limited reconditioning
Downgraded / scrap
Material value, the bottom of the ladder
Asset takeover (specials)
Axeon Prime takes ownership of special assets
The class determines the value; we then choose the most promising sales channel. Value ranges differ by category, documentation and market. You only pay from realised value above scrap.
Who it's for
For those freeing up assets, and for those looking to redeploy them.
You have assets coming free
- Make value visible before bulk sale or scrap.
- Keep control over destination, risk and documentation.
- Substantiate the avoided CO₂ emissions per asset.
You're looking for industrial assets
- Search directly on type, specification, quantity and timeframe.
- Receive traceable information on condition and provenance.
- Shorten lead time and avoid unnecessary new-build.
Why Axeon Prime? Independent of buyer and seller, under NDA, and published only after your approval.
About us
We saw too much good equipment end up on the scrap heap
That's why we started Axeon Prime. 46 years in industry between us: we've built, started up and handed over these installations. So we also know what it takes before anyone dares put a used asset on their schedule.
Jeroen Warnders
Jeroen started on the construction site and never got far from it. Eighteen years in industry: building plants, a gas infrastructure renovation of over €25 million, and programmes around hydrogen, CO₂ storage and LNG. He knows how a replacement decision really happens: under time pressure, during a shutdown, with a contractor that's often already committed. Right before that is the moment reuse is still possible.
Once decommissioning has been awarded, you're too late. We want the conversation before that.
Ramon van der Scheer
Ramon has worked 28 years with installations that need to go into service, onshore and offshore. Instrumentation, platforms, wind farms and high voltage: FAT and SAT, loop checks, clearing punch lists, and then giving the verdict that a system may go under pressure or under voltage. He now applies that same verdict the other way round. He knows what needs to be in a file before anyone puts an asset back into service elsewhere.
An asset gets a second life once its condition is demonstrable and someone puts their name to that assessment.
We do this together, from the first conversation to the handover: one knows the project side and the chain, the other assesses the engineering. Condition, documentation and clearance in order before anything leaves your site. We earn from what gets redeployed, not from the weight that goes to the smelter.
